You can download your emails so you don't have to stay on-line to read them then answer them off-line.  Your FTP accounts allows you to modify and add to your web pages 24 hours a day.  Your auto-responder feature lets you send a pre-made response to key emails.  Having a CGI_BIN lets you run pre-configured software scripts that automate selected functions as your site grows and becomes more automated.

So don't delay.  When you have your domain name, site design and ISP you have completed three of the five steps to Internet growth.  Your fourth step is having people find your site.
